MODERN BOHO ELOPEMENT

Both being from the USA & creatives themselves, they knew they had to have their destination elopement in Portugal, but especially at Casa Sacoto. To them, having a special day that didn’t feel like a “wedding” was important. They chose this lovely down-to-earth modern/Mediterranean folkloric & contemporary aesthetic country home to host their special week, as it had rooms for all of them to stay together to enjoy breakfast, the pool, cooking together, really just like a vacation but with one specific day of celebrating their love in front of their loved ones. The style of their elopement was definitely creative with modern boho elements. The florals in particular, were local to the area + with the season’s most vibrant flowers with the use of an ombré effect. Everything was well-thought out & intentional, they wanted the day to still be special & to celebrate their love, but they wanted it to be authentically them, emotionally in-tune & relaxed, all the while having their friends stay with them for the week.
