Trinity and Elijah's wedding at Pestana Palace was an intimate celebration built around vintage elegance and quiet romance. Set above the Tagus River on the edge of Lisbon, the 19th-century palace brought together gilded interiors, candlelit dining rooms, and garden views toward the 25 de Abril Bridge.
Trinity wore a beaded corset and skirt by Clio Peppiatt and House of CB, finished with a pair of vivid blue bridal shoes that became a playful, recurring detail throughout the day. Elijah wore a classic suit by Joseph Abboud. The ceremony took place in the palace gardens, followed by a candlelit dinner inside its wood-paneled dining room, with live harp music carrying through the evening.
It is the kind of day we love documenting most: small in scale, rich in atmosphere, and full of genuine emotion from start to finish.

We are from the states, but wanted to hold an intimate ceremony in Lisbon and the thought of trying to execute that was extremely overwhelming, so we figured we go in search of our photographers as our first task. We were immediately drawn to The Lopes as we could tell they knew all things style and taste.
They ended up taking stunning photos (of course) but they also essentially, acted as our wedding planners as well. They set us up/communicated with the best vendors in the city and visited our ceremony site to spot out the best spots to take photos.
Throughout the year of planning they communicated to us constantly and made sure we got the exact curated vibes we wanted, and made the whole event a lot more stress free! On the day of, they made everything easy, breezy and overall were just really fun to work with. THANK YOU GUYS <3”

Pestana Palace is a restored 19th-century building with Romantic and Moorish Revivalist details, set within heritage-listed gardens and overlooking the Tagus River. The interiors mix gilded halls with period furniture, giving every room its own distinct character.

Late afternoon light in the gardens overlooking the river and the 25 de Abril Bridge gives the warmest, richest tones. We planned Trinity and Elijah's portraits around this window. The Lopes Photography typically recommends booking ceremony time with this light in mind.
