Andrea & Nick · Private Villa, Comporta
Andrea and Nick chose a private villa in Comporta for an intimate destination wedding that traded grand architecture for something quieter: white sand dunes, sea air, and a guest list small enough that every detail felt personal. The ceremony took place directly on the beach, with dried florals lining the aisle and the Atlantic as the only backdrop the couple needed.
Andrea wore a design by Antonio Gual through Love Couture Bridal, paired with Dior heels, while Nick wore a white dinner jacket from Bonobos. Cartier and Tudor completed the groom's details, and Sofia Gama Events led the planning for a weekend built around ease rather than spectacle, including a private chef, a poolside cocktail hour, and a barefoot first dance.
We photographed the day across digital, film, and Super 8, formats that together hold onto both the considered portraits and the looser, more spontaneous moments, including an unplanned visit from a wild fox that wandered into the celebration.

“Savannah and Rui were an absolute dream team to capture our wedding day. From the moment we saw their portfolio, we were captivated by their ability to blend timeless elegance with a unique, edgy style. Throughout the planning process, they were true collaborators, ensuring the photos perfectly reflected our personalities and the spirit of our celebration. On the day itself, they seamlessly integrated with our family and guests, graciously considering everyone’s input while making us all feel truly seen. We couldn’t be happier with how our photos turned out—they exceeded all our expectations. We highly recommend them!”

The Super 8 Film — A Private Villa Wedding in Comporta
Shot on Super 8, this film leans into the textures of Comporta itself: sun-bleached sand, soft pine shadow, and the unhurried rhythm of an intimate destination wedding. The grain of the format mirrors the relaxed, sunlit energy of the day, holding onto candid motion in a way that digital alone cannot replicate. From dancing barefoot by the pool to the wild fox that wandered uninvited into the celebration, the format captures a wedding that always felt more like a long weekend with old friends than a formal occasion.
